Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the US of America is an actress and a singer. She was born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier who was a nurse and Tom Bell - a television director - she is an American actor and singer. Her heritage includes Polish (mother) as well as German, English, Irish, and Scottish (father). Kristen was already a skilled entertainer in the early stages. She went to her audition in 1992 and was offered an appearance on Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell's mother established her with an agent before she was thirteen, and she got her first role for television and newspaper commercials. Bell also began taking acting lessons in private at the age of 13. Bell had a small uncredited performance as a character Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was a part of the drama and musical groups at Shrine Catholic High School. The Wizard of Oz production at her highschool won Bell the leading Dorothy character. After graduating, Bell relocated to New York City to attend prestigious Tisch School of the Arts, where she learned about musical theatre. Bell left college in 2001 when she took the role of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. Bell made her debut film credit with Pootie Tang at the beginning of 2001. The scene however, was trimmed and now her only appearance is in the credits at the end. Bell was featured in the Broadway revival The Crucible starring Liam Neeson and Angela Bettis.
