Anamaria Marina is an Romanian actress. She made her debut on the huge screen on Sex Traffic by Channel 4, for which she was awarded the British Academy Television Award was awarded to the best actress. She speaks fluently French, German and English. Her mother played the violin, Her father is a theatre professor at one of Romania's best drama schools. She was awarded the Best Female Actor Award for the Year in 2000 at The Mangalia Young Actor Gala. She was chosen as a European Shooting Star by the European Film Promotion Board in the year 2008. She was for four years an academic in the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu. bAnamaria is a Romanian actress who was born on the 01st of April 1978 in Iasi Romania. An actress of Romanian descendance, Anamaria Marinca made her debut on the screen with the British-Canadian TV film Sex Traffic for which she was awarded the British Academy Television Award for Best Actress. The debut film of the actress, Sex Traffic won an award from the British Academy of Television, in the category of Best Actress. She also won numerous awards for her role in 4 Months 3 Weeks 2 Days a Romanian Art Film. In 2007, she starred as a character in the Romanian movie 4 luni 3 saptamani si2 zile (4 Three Weeks, Four Months 3 Weeks, 2 Days) which was directed produced by Cristian Mungiu. The film received two awards at Cannes Film Festival (the Cinema Prize of the French National Education System & the FIPRESCI Prize). She also appeared in Francis Ford Coppola's film Youth Without Youth. She played Yasim Awar on BBC's five-episode The Last Enemy miniseries. Marinca has appeared in the Romanian drama Boogie as well as Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven. Later, she had a major role in the 2014 film Fury where she portrayed a German woman who was named Irma aunt of Emma.
